(Registration form and fees must be received by this time. No modification of team rosters after this time)

Limited teams, This year there will be a limit on the number of teams in each division as stated below. Once we reach the limit we will not accept any other teams, first come first served.

III. Events and Format

3 on 3 half-court basketball round robin elimination competition

Master Division (35+) – limited to 8 teams

Open Division (All ages and sexes, most competitive) – limited to 16 teams

Food, drinks and lots of fun!

IV. Cost

$8 per person 3 on 3 tournament registration

(lunch and drinks will be provided as well as t-shirt for the 1^st 70 people registering in the tournament).

V. Registration Requirements

Fellowship based teams. At least 50% of the players must regularly attend ACC or sponsoring Church. All members of a team must be given reasonable amount of playing time.
3-5 person teams. Rosters must have at least three players, but no more than five players (six for masters) listed
Each team will appoint a captain responsible for their team's registration, communications, and conduct
Each team must have one person volunteer to keep score for a tournament game
Teams are required to have similar colored t-shirts/uniforms (one dark color and one white color)
The team roster and entry fee must be submitted by the entry deadline March 29^th to Leo Yeung. The entry fee may be paid by cash or check addressed to Austin Chinese Church. No roster changes or refunds after entry deadline!

VI. Rules and Regulations (detailed rules will be explained at the manager’s meeting and posted the day of the event)

Format: Round Robin: playoff teams to be decided by best record, who beat whom, then greatest overall point spread. Winning teams are responsible for reporting the final score for their game to the official score table.
Play: 3 on 3 half court. Play starts after “checking” ball with opponent. Change/Alternating of possession after every made basket and on jump balls. Every change of possession the ball must clear the 3-point line (including air balls). Substitution on dead balls. No Stalling Rule. Home team will lead in a prayer before each game.
Scoring and Time: Scoring by 2 & 3 points. The first team to score 30 points or the leader after 15 minutes will be declared the winner. In the event of a tie after 15 minutes expires, the next team to score will be declared the winner. Running clock except for last 1 minute. 2 Time Outs per team (30 seconds each, clock stops only in last 1 minute).
Penalties: Each player will be assigned a number. Referees will call fouls. 2 free throws for shooting fouls. 1 & 1 free throws on the 7th team foul. Each player has 4 fouls to give, on the 4th foul the player is ejected. Standard NBA rules and conduct will apply. Good sportsmanship rules apply. Flagrant fouls or continuous misconduct will result in ejection of the player and/or team.
